WHY does this exist

Bryan Christopher Caldwell passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 in Wenatchee, Washington, while doing what he loved, rock climbing. He was 44 years old.

Bryan is remembered for his love of rock climbing and teaching countless others who shared his passion.

A memorial fund was established in Bryan's name to support future youth competitors like the many Bryan has coached over two decades.

HOW does it work?

Applications are reviewed by a committee of family and friends. The committee prioritizes applications that reflect Bryan's values:

  • a passion for Climbing

  • connecting with Community

  • off-setting Financial Burdens

  • supporting Diversity

  • celebrating Non-conforming leaders
